Key West

We had a fabulous vacation in the Keys for David's vacation. We were able to go with our good friends Neil and Beth Ellis, and stay in a beautiful guest house owned by Sandy Santiago, whose sandwich place is pictured below. It is such a beautiful place, and we had a great time, maybe minus this boat ride which made all three kids throw up, and Beth and I very seasick.
One of the highlights was that Autumn was able to win some "turtle bucks" at Turtle Kraal's, where turtle races are held Monday nights. She didn't bet on the races, but won the heart of the man in charge I guess, so he let her bet against the betters, and she won, paying for half our dinner. Way to go, Autumn!


We'll have to return to this paradise again!

Hoggetown Medieval Faire

How could we pass up this awesome Gainesville event? I love Autumn's face in the first picture! I am so slow at blogging...this was several weeks ago now, but we had pretty nice weather even then, which was great because I remember being cold last year!

We had a hard time passing up other things as well...like face painting for Autumn. Pretty great job, though, so it was worth it!
