Year End Kindergarten Fun at Wiles!

 

 

 

Marik had a great class!  It was fun to have our friend Nadia in his class!  We will miss them!

Pirates!

 

Autumn had a part in her school play "Pirates".  She did a great job playing Captain Blackbeard.

Swimming with Manatees!

 

 

 

Our good friend Mike gave us a groupon to swim with the manatees!  What an experience!  I must admit, that I was a little nervous swimming in the murky water looking for these gigantic, yet tame creatures.  They are friendly as well, and one came upon me suddenly, and it scared me a little, but Porter reassured me that all was well, and to just feel it's back and rub its belly. It was one of the coolest things that we have done as a family.  I was impressed at how unafraid the kids were!

UF Fishery Field Trip

Marik learned about so many kinds of fish today!

 

He was the first Kindergartener to catch one!

His buddy Branson was a little nervous about the fish flapping all around, so tough guy Marik saved the day!  He even threw it back in the water for him!

Autumn the Gymnast

 

 

Autumn has a knack for gymnastics, so she took a class for a few months!  She really excelled and enjoyed the class. I am sure we will have her take it up again!
