Our good friend Mike gave us a groupon to swim with the manatees! What an experience! I must admit, that I was a little nervous swimming in the murky water looking for these gigantic, yet tame creatures. They are friendly as well, and one came upon me suddenly, and it scared me a little, but Porter reassured me that all was well, and to just feel it's back and rub its belly. It was one of the coolest things that we have done as a family. I was impressed at how unafraid the kids were!
